Entry Fee

"One day I will fly these fleshy lawns and acrid slopes for better or worse and hope in hand, clasp your desperate coos with one strong arm, pile all your shit high and lofty and charge entry fee to visit and view the empirical mound of I and you."

FANTASTIC.

You walk wet with fire sweat

bleeding coragously a corrosive serum

- your metal shanks hawling bodies and torsos

from your sea trawl.

Be with them but don’t be them.

.never remembering to forget

.your parents chewed your nails

.not sharp enough to dig the dirt when they came to take you from your best bed

they folly - you take inwards a bail of breath

swallow gulping... my manufactured love

- tastes like plastic

- undigestable but still

Fantastic.

Bumble Bees

You and your words and your timing completely threw me
I know you best when you dance like your dying to free
All of your guts and your hide till their blue baby
You and your horse belt a saddle like graffite
Built like a Crain with the words you said last night
you hold a stature to pride a gazelle on
Feeding your hunger with greek watermelon

But over it goes
Blowing like cotton freedom
Drinking my tears
God forbid you see them
And these are my fears
Eloping with honesty
gagging like bumble bees
hanging in bruges
Erupting your noose

Burnt

and he came forth
with so many legs and a spinal collum
flailing tenticular and wiresome
breathing a hollar for the game front
and bleeding in horror as his team burnt

wide blue
free fleeting bellies moan and consume
and I for one will un-do
all the flowers my sick tongue blooms

The Beauty of Sleep.

Every nook a blessed home for a limb of mine to sleep
belief and belonging braves my eyes to close and dream
our fleeting hours become a monument solid and traceable
and i conceive of my becoming in our womb like an interior

I long to sleep and lay and breathe shallow in our spirit pool
of golden orchid and the midas that cavorts within your touch
bringing speech to my skin as words fall blissfully I weep
for the beauty of it all, for the beauty of our sleep.

.

Take my eyes before they're savaged by the nights undeadly sun

Bleating deep like navigation in the sweet aquarium

And call me lady foolsum as I use my hands to run

In the hours after Dawn and just before you come

The only man I ever loved

The only man I'll ever take

Deep into my being

So as never to mistake

You with the only man

He who came and reaped

As I learned to run my distance

Love, I also learned to weep

.

You once said to me "what is the purpose of achievement if we die in spite of it".

Later you were to ask "what else matters if we love each other?"

Well what, my dear, is the purpose of love? We die in spite of that too.
